I’m thinking of switching to a dentist closest to where I live who is not covered by my dental plan that I got through my job. I’m thinking of paying full price by cash, credit, or check. Which of the three is the best one or does it matter?

I have cc that pays me 5% cash back on every purchase that I make in gas station, groceries and pharmcy stores.

Why would they do that ? I understand that if a person doesnt pay credit card, he will get hefty interest. But, what if he is like me, paying promptly.
